Mission
Statement:
- To provide food in a safe, nurturing, and
compassionate environment to those in need.
- To offer support and recognize the
inherent worth and dignity of all people regardless of race,
sex, creed or age.
- To maintain and encourage a more
independent lifestyle.
The food bank was
established in 1999. Groceries
are distributed Wednesday mornings beginning at 9am until
noon, or earlier if our food supply is exhausted.
Qualified recipients must
demonstrate need and must be pre-registered and re-register
annually.
We are very grateful for
donations of non-expired canned goods, dry foods and grooming
items by individuals and organizations.
We can also accept fresh food that does not require
refrigeration.

can be dropped off at our location at 1490 North Avenue,
Bridgeport, CT.
